Parish of St John Boste

St John Boste parish is a part of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. Our churches lie in a rural area to the west of Durham City.  The Churches are:

• Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Esh Winning
• St Joseph’s, Ushaw Moor
• St Michael’s, Esh Laude
• St Joseph’s, Langley Park

Parish Priest: Fr Jim Angus

Father Angus was appointed our Parish Priest in 2024 but will also continue as Parish Priest of the Parish of Our Lady and St Thomas, Willington (residing at St Joseph’s Presbytery, Ushaw Moor).
